We collect the rent details you submit (like rent amount, bedroom type, and neighborhood area), optional email when you choose to share it, and IP address data only for anti-spam and rate-limiting.
2) How email is used
If you provide your email, we use it only for things like room or listing match notifications. We never sell your email, and we never show it publicly on anonymous rent pins.
3) How to request deletion
Want your data removed? Email us at hello@RentNYC.live and include enough detail for us to find your submission. We will remove it as quickly as possible.
4) Cookie policy
We do not use ad trackers and we do not run advertising cookies. Any basic cookies used by the site are only for core functionality.
5) Anonymous rent pins
Rent pins are stored anonymously. We round location data so exact addresses are not saved, and rent pins are not tied to your name.
